 A young male guild of ages 16-30year old, living by the Christian’s examples and ways of St. Michaels

Vision

To create a platform where young boys and young men are able to learn and share scripture readings, grow their faith in God and become good stewards of Jesus in His Church and in society

 

Our Mission

 

We believe God has called us to:

To capacitate young boys and young men in reading and understanding the Holy Scriptures through workshops and Bible study sessions, create and or take part in outreach programmes in church and the community, serve as role models to younger boys by mentoring them. Live an exemplary life according to Christian values, in church and in society.

Our Values

In order to accomplish the “VISION” God has given us, the “MISSION” is be guided by the following core values:

 

1.      Love God and others.

2.      Regular reading of the Scripture.

3.      Lead a meaningful and devotional prayer life.

4.      Reach out to other young people through witness and evangelism.

5.      Develop good habits in productive use of our leisure time.

6.      Be good stewards of God with our money, time, and other abilities.

7.      Be accountable in everything we do to the Priest and to God

 

Code of Conduct

 

1.      Respect for one another is essential.

2.      Attend church regularly.

3.      Do the Guild prayer at least twice a day.

4.      Read the Bible regularly.

5.      Punctuality in church and guild meetings is essential at all times.

6.      Wear Guild Uniform at all times during church services and special services (i.e. funerals, wedding, etc).

7.      You are not allowed to receive Holy Eucharist when you late (i.e. after all readings have been read).

8.      It is compulsory for all members to fully participate in group and church activities (i.e. workshops, bible study and fundraising events, etc)

9.      Members are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages, use drugs, smoke or indulge in promiscuous behaviour in church and or in their community.
